Katie is an Associate Creative Director at VML, a mother to the happiest baby girl and the grumpiest fur baby, a passionate creative, and a lover of random facts (like did you know that cats don’t meow at each other in the wild, it’s learned to manipulate us humans? Katie’s cat Coen knows this fact.).

Katie nerds out over craft, strategic thinking and getting her hands as dirty as possible for any scale of production. And she still can’t shake her unrelenting optimism that each project will be the best, no matter how many years she’s been in the industry.

Over the course of her career, Katie has received multiple international awards, has led creative teams for brands such as Intel, The Home Depot and Ziploc. She is passionate about leading big brands to do great work, mentoring and growing creative talent, and leaving the industry a little bit better than she found it. 

When not making ads, you can find Katie goofing off with her 1-year-old, rocking out at a show with her husband, or exploring other creative outlets like photography, bookbinding and cooking.
